7/9/13

Recording last night's bad girl move as part of today's post.
2am
320 - 1 cup oats
80 - 2 dollops Greek yogurt

Actually got some sleep, but then got to the grind working today and am just feeling blasé...idk what it is. I'm exhausted.

9:00a & 1:30p
360 - can of pineapple

Need to get active today but I'm trying to pound out work. Probably get to the gym before or after volleyball.

2:00p
40 - 3.5 medium egg whites (yep, spilled one haha)
160 - half avocado
Needed some real food in me... time to knock out more work and then get active today. Need some serious calorie burning to happen after my splurges :-/

5pm
100 - grapefruit

6pm
100 - apple

Opting out to volleyball since my heel has been iffy all week. Going to the gym for a blast of cardio and core.


GYM:
Cardio. 3 different sets on the elliptical doing various interval training 20m/15m/10m (breaking to hydrate). Then NTC HIIT Beginner segment for another 30 minutes...all of that put at into the fire! Feeling amazeballs. That means I tossed 700-800 calories into the fire today. Was feeling kinda tired going into it so I probably could have pushed it harder, but I did what I could. Also, I went at a very busy time of day. Space was VERY limited so that's why I did so much on the elliptical.

Biked home.

8:30p
140 - 2 Boca original vegan patties
10 - balsamic vinegar (after nuking the patties, I put a TBS of vinegar on them to help the dryness and add zing)
100 - 1 cup mushroom spaghetti sauce
150 - full bag (1 pound) cut okra


Going to bike to the store for some Artic Zero and eat the whole pint :)

today's total: 1710 intake. Feeling great.

10pm recalculated my #s and yeah, I am aiming for 1870 calories a day... so I get to eat more Artic Zero!

Bike to/from gym
25 minutes elliptical intervals at incline of 6 (works all muscle groups) and resistance 6-14.
Core work. Planking!!! My sides are improving but my front isn't. Strange.
And my glutes are STILL sore from Friday night :-/

Got stood up...by a faker. I really thought he could have been a winner. I never let anyone in that deep... serves me right :(

Didn't end up going snowboarding... going up tomorrow for sure though.

Been craving carbs all afternoon... trying REALLY hard to resist.
~~ ended up giving in and having a bag on sunchips. Yum :-)


FOOD.
Breakfast.
1 high fiber granola bar
1 tortilla
2 Tbs PB
Lunch.
1/2 cup black beans
1/4 cup mushroom spaghetti sauce
1 1/2 cup steamed broccoli
1/4 cup light ranch dressing w/fiber & vinegar
Snack.
Snack-sized m&m mcFlurry (only about 200 calories. Yum!)
Added fiber powder and mixed in some high fiber cereal... this is one of my fave treats when dieting!!
Dinner.
2x turkey dog w/spinach & peperoncini on zero point tortilla
sun chips
1 can rockstar hydration
Snack.
1 pear


ACTIVITY.
Gym.
5 minute bike warmup
15 minutes Random workout on bike, level 12 -200 calories
15 minutes Fat Burn on elliptical -135 calories
15 minutes on treadmill, 4mph w/3lb weights in each hand. Shoulder and abdominal toning -? calories
30 incline situps w/10 lb weight
3 sets of 2x8 leg lifts w/twists (obliques)
Oblique toning w/15lb weight (body turns)
5 minute walking cool down on treadmill @ 3.5mph

FOOD.
Breakfast.
1 high fiber granola bar
2 TBS pb
Snack.
4oz natural apple sauce
2 light string cheese
Snack.
1 yogurt
Dinner.
Dark green salad with crab meat, carrots, cherry tomatoes and 4oz of remulade dressing and lots of vinegar
Snack.
1 tortilla w/pb

1 litre water at work? YES!

ACTIVITY.
Gym. 5 minute walk warm up on treadmill, 25 minutes of "random" on elliptical - heart rate average 165, 10 minute intervals on bike, 5 minute cool down on stationary bike.
Inner & Outer thigh/hip toning on machines: 3 sets of 10 on each
